The Band
We are a 5 piece entertainment band from Carlisle, Cumbria.
We pride ourselves on playing 100% live, no backing or click tracks have ever been used and we plan to keep it that way.
History
- The band was originally formed as a 3 piece in 1997, playing locally to friends and family
- Over the next 3 years, new members became part of the band until eventually becoming Orange Juice Jones and The Floaters in 2000
- Most of the band have grown up or now live in the Harraby area of Carlisle.
What we do
The band play to a number of different audiences, playing at weddings, birthday, anniversaries, corporate parties as well as local pub venues and clubs.
The band play a considerable number of venues around Cumbria, as well as playing the north of England and the south of Scotland. We are willing to travel further, please contact us for further details.
We are also able to include a disco to complete the evenings entertainment while reducing the customers costs.
We help the local community by offering our expertise as well as playing to local schools for their special themed musical nights, the most recent being a rock night (see our news archive).
